Portland- Sokha Khuon, 36, of Dorothy Street, passed away on Sunday, January 7, 2018 at her residence. She was born on September 8, 1981, in Thailand. She was a graduate of Portland High School, Class of 2000. She worked at Direct Mail of Maine.
Sokha was truly a sweet person with a great personality. She was known to be outgoing and had a great sense of humor. She loved spending time with her children, friends and families. She loved to cook and was always looking for new recipes. She was a favorite in her circle of friends and family and especially dear to her nieces and nephew. She cared about everyone and was known as Auntie to most. Sokha worked hard while raising her children. Her hobbies included gardening, fishing and cooking. She loved planting new flowers, fruit plants and vegetables. Some of her favorite memories were attending the high school games of her two oldest children. She loved going to her daughter’s basketball and softball games, and her sons wrestling.
She is survived by her children, Myra (18), Anferni (15) and Kaidan (10); her mother, Pov Phach; and several siblings.
Friends and family are invited to visit with the family from 10-11:30 a.m. on Sunday, January 14, 2018 at Jones Rich & Barnes Funeral Home, 199 Woodford St. Portland, ME. A service will begin at 11:30 a.m. at the funeral home.
