I just heard of this devastating news… Craig was a dear friend to me during my time working in Cheshire at Olin/Arch, so many fond memories.  I haven’t spoken to him in many years but this news is still crushing.  My thoughts and prayers are with his family.  See you on the other side Craig.

We are both deeply shocked and saddened to hear of Craig's passing. We have known Craig as a colleague and friend for almost 30 years and always valued his kindness, honesty and great sense of humor. I'm at a loss for words. Craig was a wonderful person and added such brightness to your day. I worked with Craig, we were office neighbors and I always enjoyed starting my day checking in with him while I borrowed his electric kettle. He was so fun, always joking around but still ready to help when asked. We traveled to Texas for a work event a few years ago and we had the best time hanging out and we found some great barbecue too. 

To his family, I am truly sorry for your loss. I hope more people share memories of him and that it helps lighten your grief where it can.

I just wanted to share what a wonderful person Craig was to me.  When I joined Arch Chemicals, he was one of the people I met that took me in and helped me learn the business.  On a personal level, Craig always greeted me with a smile and I kind word.  Loved Craig.

Laura and I were shocked and saddened beyond words to hear of Craig’s passing.  All those years we spent together working and socializing with him and his family at Olin/Arch/Lonza certainly is part of the fabric of our lives.  We found an old picture that clearly shows both Craig’s dedication to family and his love of competitive sports.  The photo is of the 1988 Olin’s Basketball Team, which was the year that Josh coached them to a second-place finish!
Craig’s ability to brighten your day with even just a quick exchange in the hallway is something we will always fondly remember.  Our sincere condolences to Jenny and the family.  We will miss you Craig and know that you will always be in our thoughts and prayers.

Fishing trip with some Olin guys many years ago

My family has such wonderful memories of Craig. Our families became instant friends and they felt like family. Our boys played hockey together here in Georgia and I looked forward to every game, not only to watch our son play but to be able to spend time with them.  He will always hold a special place in our hearts. We love you Jenn, Kevin and family. Please know we are praying for all of you. Love, LeAnn, Mark, Nolan and Matthew Scoretz.

I first met Craig in 1990 at Olin.  We played many sports together through the years (softball, basketball, deck hockey) to name a few.  He was a great teammate on and off the field.  I analyze countless samples for him at Olin/Arch and he was always so appreciative.  He was so gracious to my family when we tragically lost a close family member.  You will be missed my old friend.  Just know daily prayers are being sent to your family and close friends!!!

Craig was my lab mate when I started my first job out of college at OLIN in 1986.  We became very good friends and shared many memories and events together over the last 37 years both in the 
us and in our business travels around the world.  He was a very dear friend, with a great smile,  quick to  lend a helping hand, a very nice human being and a great athlete and a die hard Bosox fan (I rooted for the Yankees). 

I have fond memories of Craig and I winning the Terryville Tennis doubles tournament - where we fought hard to beat the "Mayor" and his "ringer" pro-partner in the finals (after losing the first set - because I hit all the balls to the pro across the net for want of a fun game), After losing the first set, Craig took me aside and told me to hit ONLY to the Mayor and we won in 3-sets! That was Craig's first tennis trophy and he loved it. I am heartbroken at his passing and will cherish this and many other fond memories I had with him. I will miss him dearly forever! May he Rest In Peace! ❤️ George

RIP my fellow Red Sox fan. You knew Craig liked you when he would unleash his acerbic wit on you.  It was much better to be on his side when playing anything but 2 on 2 basketball, in particular behind the Olin building in Cheshire. Craig had a big heart. He introduced me to my wife who was a single mom with a son knowing that I was a single father with a daughter. We are thankful for our years of friendship with Jennifer and Craig and the kids. Our deepest condolences are with you.

I started at Olin on the same team with Craig.  We shared projects and patents and traveled together to industry events all over.  Played softball and went fishing.   Always fun to be with and loved to joke around.  He was who you saw.  A straight shooter who didn’t hesitate to let you know your faults.  A quick wit and master of one liners.  I hope the world beyond is ready for him.  Rest In Peace my good friend.

Our family only has the best memories of Craig. He had the best smile and laugh and when you met him he was one of those guys you could call an instant friend. We only knew Craig a short time in Georgia, but I always thought we would see him again. You are going to be so missed. We love you Jen, Kevin and family.

Craig was an amazing part of my years at Arch/Lonza. My memories are always so fond of Craig, his love of his family and especially his children which he spoke about always. And those  Red Sox’s. He was a fierce competitor and always had to be winning! My condolences to his family and my love to you Craig, thanks for the friendship. You will be deeply missed.

Hearing of Craig's passing this past weekend was a shock that I am still trying to recover from.  Craig worked with me at Olin/Arch for many years and was a great friend and business colleague.   We traveled the world together working together on the AFS treaty and building a multi million dollar business in the marine paint industry..   Along the way we climbed Mt. Fuji, sang off key in karaoke bars in Japan and Korea, and ran together in too many cities to count.  Those who know Craig know that  he always liked to turn it into a race.  That competitive streak was in everything he did and  as a result was very effective on our business team.  It is hard to believe Craig has passed but i know his  spirit will be with us always.  Rest in peace Craig.

Craig is one of the good guys. Always enthusiastic with a smile and a can-do attitude. He was great to work with and it was an honor to know him and call him a friend. He will be missed. My deepest sympathies to his family.

Craig was our nextdoor neighbor. He was such a kind person and we enjoyed having him as a neighbor. He was very friendly and helpful with two of our boys 12 and 11 years old. He would help with their bikes and bring us baked goods and Christmas treats. The boys are very sad  they thought so highly  of  Craig, we all did. They play with the grandchildren when they come visit and look forward to it, basketball and wiffle ball in the street. We are all so saddened to hear of Craig’s passing.  We are praying for the family and we are so sorry for your pain.  His absence will be felt by us.  Sending love and prayers. Adam and Renee and kids nextdoor.
