Ronald was born in Poughkeepsie, New York and moved to Florida in 1971.
After graduating from Fort Pierce Central High School in 1978, he worked as an AC Tech until 1995 when he suffered a stroke and overcame many obstacles that doctors thought he wouldn’t.
After many years together, he married Beth Olson in 2006 on a New Years’s Eve Cruise. They enjoyed traveling, dancing and spending time with family and friends.
Ron enjoyed many sports, especially his Fins and Nascar and going to “work” at his favorite watering hole, where he was loved by many caring friends who were more like family. After all he went through, he still had a smile on his face and a great head of hair! He was known to many lovingly as either BonBon, Captain Ron or Rollin Ron.
Survived by his wife, Beth Olson; his three stepchildren, Jackie Callas, Theresa Sanchez and husband, Bruce, Stevie Callas. Also 8 grandchildren, 3 sisters, Sharon(Granger) Bouton, Lenita DesFonds, and Mary Lou (Granger) Bouton. His niece, Cheryl (Bouton) Dempsey, nephews, Michael and Mark Bouton.
He is predeceased by his parents, Walter and Helen Granger and 5 other siblings.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, April 8, 2021 from 5:00-7:00pm with services to follow on Friday, April 9th at 11:00am at Aycock Funeral Home 1504 SE Floresta Drive Port St Lucie, Florida 34983, for directions please call 772-878-0049. A graveside service will be held April 9th at 1:00pm at Fernhill Memorial Gardens.
