Patricia R. Whitmyer

Mrs. Patricia Ruth Whitmyer, of Port St. Lucie, died Dec 2, 2017 at her home. She is survived by her five children, Diane Laster (Steve) Port St. Lucie; Jerry Graves (Diane) Palm Bay; Kevin Graves (Ivette) Kissimmee; Roxanne Graves (Debi Lippens) Orlando; and Suzanne LaPelusa (Jeff) Chicago, two sisters, Jean Keppy and Marjorie McCabe, eight grandchildren, and five great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Bertha Kuriger Haut, three brothers, Frank, Fred Jr, and Gary Haut, her children’s father, Jerry Joseph Graves Sr, and her second husband, Paul Garland Whitmyer.

Patricia was born in Davenport, Iowa on January 29, 1935 and moved to Florida in 1965. She retired from The News Journal in Daytona Beach. She enjoyed genealogy, dominos, bingo, playing cards, traveling, and her family.

A Mass will be Wednesday, December 6, 2017, 9:30AM at St. Lucie Catholic Church, Port St. Lucie, FL.

Burial will be private at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, FL.

Funeral arrangements are by Aycock Funeral Home. Donations in lieu of flowers to Treasure Coast Hospice.
