Nick was born in Sewickley, Pennsylvania. Nick worked as a Carpenter and Boilermaker in Pennsylvania. In 1987 He moved from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania to Port St. Lucie, Florida serving as a Carpenters Union Representative. Nick loved wood crafts. He built his own life size Christmas scenes along with furniture for his loved ones. Nick was an avid hunter and fisherman. He was a die hard Pittsburgh Steelers fan. He enjoyed coaching his daughter’s softball team. In his later years, Nick was active as an online Disk Jockey, and was known by his peers as “DJ Steed”. He was a great family man, known to take care of his friends and family. Nick would lighten up the room with his jokes. In his spare time he enjoyed playing the guitar.
Nick was preceded in death by his father, George Theodore, infant nieces Marissa and Athena Theodore and Godfather George Vasilakis.
Survivors include his mother, Chris Theodore, of Baden, PA; wife, Beverly, of Port St. Lucie, FL; daughter, Bobbie Renea Vigrass, of Port St. Lucie; granddaughters, Ashley and April Birtwell and Alexandra Vigrass; great grand daughters, Sophia Medina and Aleah Greenslate; partner, Shelby Hall, of Port St. Lucie, her son, Josh Helton, and their Furry Brat, Leo; brothers, John Theodore and his wife Virginia; and daughter Vikki of Baden, PA; and Andy Theodore and his wife Jenny; their daughter, Alyssa, of Aliquippa, PA; and his Godmother Irene Vasilakis of Beaver Falls, PA.
A gathering of family and friends will take place on Monday, February 8, 2016 from 4-7 pm at Aycock Funeral Home, 1504 SE Floresta Drive Port St. Lucie, FL 34983. The Funeral Mass will be at 11 am, on Tuesday February 9, 2016 at St Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church, 2525 S 25th St, Fort Pierce, FL 34981. Committal will follow at Forest Hills Memorial Park in Palm City, Florida.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
