Josephine I. Perkins, 87, pf Port St. Lucie passed away, Tuesday, December 1, 2015 at the Treasure Coast Hospice residence in Ft. Pierce, FL. Josephine was born in Tarentum, PA. She had been a resident of Port St. Lucie for the past thirty years coming from Miami, FL. Prior to retirement, she worked twenty years as a Secretary for the Miami Police Department in Miami, FL. Survivors include her son, Les W. Perkins of Weston, FL; two daughters, Karen Carol of Port St. Lucie, FL; Rena Perkins of Ft. Pierce, FL; one brother, William and his wife Joan Patacchia of Ft. Pierce, FL; three grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Visitation will be held from 10:00 am – 12:00 pm, Friday, December 4, 2015 at Aycock FH-Byrd, Young & Prill Chapel, 1170 SW Bayshore Blvd., Port St. Lucie, FL 34983.
