Born in New York, NY, Henry was a resident of Port St. Lucie, FL for 27 years, moving from New York.
Prior to retirement, Mr. Diaz was a commercial and residential painter for DC 9 Union in New York for 35 years.
He was a member of the BPO Elks Lodge #385 and Union member of the Local DC 9 in New York.
Survivors include his wife, Claire Diaz of Port St. Lucie, FL; step-son, James Elmendorf and his wife Christine of Queens, NY; step-daughter, Susan Dunlap and her husband Mark of Evergreen, CO; brother-in-law James Wright and his wife Kathleen of Wellington, FL.
A Memorial Service will be Friday, March 7, 2014, 11AM at the First Congregational Church, Port St. Lucie, FL.
