Celso Fredy Guity was born on July 13, 1958, in Corozal, Honduras to his father, Aparicio Guity, and mother, Juliana Nuñez de Guity. While in Honduras, he obtained a certified public accountant degree. In his youth, he played professional soccer with Marathón in La Liga Nacional of Honduras. Celso was then selected for the National Soccer Team to represent Honduras in the 1982 World Cup in Spain. After coming to the United States, Celso worked as a construction laborer in New York for over 20 years. In his spare time, Celso enjoyed listening to music, reading, and fishing. He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Lesly Guity, his four children, Wilson, Fredy, Kendra, and Kamaria, and five grandchildren. He was a wonderful son, loving husband, doting father, and amazing grandfather, who will be missed dearly.
