Hi Honey, Can't believe a whole year has passed since you went away. I spent Christmas with Sandy and Debbie  and all the extended family. It was very nice but so very different without you. You were so missed. Well  its been pretty lonely at home without you. I finally got a cat. He was a shelter cat but very well taken care of. Has sort of taken over the house but keeps me company.
I've been doing pretty well. Got a new heart valve last November. All went well except some bleeding problems with blood thinners. 
I miss you so very much.

It is very difficult to accept the idea that you are no longer with us in this world, but we know that you are in a better world, next to our Lord , enjoying eternal life and relieved of all suffering. We are immensely glad that you are with Him, although we are very sad to not see and talk to you and Dennis every Sunday through Facebook. Don't worry, we will take care of your dear Dennis who loves you so much and may the Lord watch over you, your children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Dear tia Mabel: what a privilege it is to be your niece, I have so many beautiful memories of moments we spent together that I only wish had been more often. I will always remember your laughter and the way you made everyone feel so special and cherished. May you finally rest in peace along with abuela Maruja and tata Fernando. It is difficult to think that beautiful Ma'bel will no longer be at your side. We know that you were inseparable in heart and soul as in your daily lives. Someday you'll be together again, but for now take care of yourself as she would want to.
