Wayne Gage, 93, of Port Lavaca passed away April 8, 2021. He was born in Roxton, TX on August 22, 1927 to James Arthur and Lillian Ora Gage. He was a salesman, member of Alamo Heights Baptist Church, and served in the U.S. Army during WWII.
He is survived by his daughter, Lisa Juanell Pape of Port Lavaca; sons, Terry Wayne Gage of Corpus Christi, Keith Nelson Gage of Port Lavaca, and Kevin Dale Gage of Port Lavaca; step-daughters, Ann Cumba, Sissy Sturm, and Patty Knight; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Juanita Gage; second wife, Gwen Gage; daughters, Debbie Jean Cahill and Karen Lynn Gage; and his parents.
Visitation will be Friday, April 16, 2021 from 1-2 p.m. followed by funeral services at 2 p.m. at Richardson-Colonial Funeral Home. The service will be streamed online at https://facebook.com/richardsoncolonial/ . Burial with military honors under the auspices of the Calhoun County Veterans Joint Honor Guard will follow in Port Lavaca Cemetery.
Pallbearers are Keith Gage, Logan Gage, Derek Reyes (Baby), Gavin Reyes, Michael Schlebach, Anthony Walker, and Albert Burke. Honorary Pallbearer is Nathan Wayne Gage.
