Lisa Ann Bonnette McDanel

Lisa Ann Bonnette McDanel, 67, of Corpus Christi passed away September 16, 2023. She was born March 10, 1956 in Houston to Marvin Joseph Bonnette Sr. and Rita Marie Guillory Bonnette. Lisa graduated with honors from Silsbee High and Lamar University. She was a member of Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing. Lisa enjoyed spending time playing tennis, surfing, cycling, snow skiing, diving and fishing.

She is survived by her loving husband, Steven McDanel; brothers, Marvin Joseph Bonnette Jr. (Lauri), Gary Michael Bonnette (Patricia), Alan Jesse Bonnette (Sheri), Douglas James Bonnette (Tena), Daniel Frank Bonnette (Rebecca); sisters, Robin Marie Breaux (Kenny), Theresa Lynn King (Terry), Gina Louise Spurlock (Bryant); sister-in-law, Kathleen Mikeska; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Visitation will be held Saturday, September 23, 2023 from 10-11 a.m. at First Baptist Church in Port Lavaca followed by funeral services at 11 a.m. with Pastor Michael Whittle officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Gardens.

Pallbearers will be Matthew Bonnette, Justin Bonnette, Bo Kelley, Carl Kelley, Ty Boaze, and Sonny Apacible.
