Alejos M. Garza, 71 of Port Lavaca passed away October 7, 2013. He was born May 28, 1942 in Encino, Texas to the late Alfonso and Rafaela M. Garza. Mr. Garza worked for Power Electric and was a member of Our Lady of The Gulf Catholic Church. He had a love for music and enjoyed playing the accordion.
Alejos is survived by his wife Mary Garza of Port Lavaca; daughter, Barbara Jean Tagle of Corpus Christi; son, Alex Garza, Jr. of Seadrift; grandchildren, Marcus Anthony Tagle, Alex Ryan Garza and Destiny Alexis Garza; sisters, Gloria Olivarez, Dora Villarreal and Estella Leal all of Port Lavaca.
In addition to his parents Alejos was preceded in death by his two brothers, Porfirio Garza and Gonzalo Garza.
A Rosary will be recited at 10:30 am on Thursday with a funeral mass to follow at 11 am at Our Lady of The Gulf Catholic Church. Burial will follow at the Greenlawn Gardens Cemetery.
