Morton "Mort" Mecklosky, age 90, of Stony Brook, New York passed away on Friday, May 13, 2022. Mort was born April 13, 1932 in Brooklyn, New York.
Mort was an avid freshwater fly fisherman. He was a math professor at Suffolk Community College and Stony Brook University. He also taught logic. He had a political radio show on WUSB in his 30 years of retirement.
Beloved husband of Lorraine. Loving father of Carolyn Mecklosky (Kent Corduan) and Robert (Laura). Cherished grandfather of incredible grandchildren Jessica and Alex. Adored brother of Ronald (late Pat) and Brian.
On Wednesday May 18, 2022 there will be a graveside service at Cedar Hill Cemetery, Port Jefferson NY.
