Shirley J. Wheatley, 97, passed away peacefully on Monday, August 19, 2024.
She is survived by her two daughters and sons-in-law Sue & Ronald Simons and Kae & Joseph Guardi; grandchildren Lynn Williams, Kristin & Jason Halpin and Michael Simons & Akiko Ikegami; great grandchildren Mia & Mason Williams and Averly & Brenley Halpin.
Shirley was a graduate of the Whitney Point High School and went on to have a successful career as a legal secretary. She enjoyed bowling, crocheting and spending time with her friends on Friday nights in Whitney Point. She will be fondly remembered and sorely missed.
At Shirley’s request there will be no funeral services.
