Kim L. Snyder

Kim L. Snyder, 69 of Berkshire NY, passed away on March 31, 2025 at home. He was born on July 28, 1955 in Auburn, NY to Lawrence A Snyder and Lynne Williamson. He was predeceased by former wife Rita Grant Snyder and long-time partner Elizabeth Hill.

He was a beloved father to Holly Snyder Lomazzo; his step-daughters Amy Jo Crance Teeter (Matt) and Marcy Crance Oliver (Frankie). He was grandfather to Dakota Snyder (Sarah), Dustone Hammond , Landen Lomazzo, and Great Grandfather to Ryan Snyder. His siblings are Mark Snyder (Tina), Pre-deceased: Jeff Snyder (Kate), Renaye Phillips, Half-Siblings: Charmagne Rumgay, and Douglas Snyder(Marie);Step-siblings: Predeceased: Deborah Landon, Lynn Landon (Sandy), Rusty Sharpsteen, Teri Sharpsteen and Several nieces, nephews and friends.

Kim’s lifework was as a maintenance man for Orson Ledger and his own company. He also bartended at the Chanticleer in Ithaca during the 1980’s. He enjoyed boating in his younger years and his cat CoCo was his true partner in crime who had his own bedroom. Kim had a sense of humor and enjoyed having a good laugh.

A Celebration of his life will be at the Fall Creek House, 302 Lake St. Ithaca, NY on April 26, 2025 at 3pm.
