John "Jack" H. Proper, 85, passed away Wednesday, November 7, 2018. He was predeceased by his brother Clement. He is survived by his loving wife Bernis; son Robert "Bob" (Maureen), daughter Jackie (Brian), stepdaughter Donna (Kevin), many grandchildren, nieces and nephews and a brother Gordon. Jack was a retired employee of Vail-Ballou Press.
A Memorial service will be held on Monday the 19th at 11:00 am at the Highlands Community Center, 725 Lee Circle, Johnson City with Pastor Leon Jicha, Jr. officiating.
