Jason J. Smith Sr., 36, died suddenly as a result of a senseless act, while out enjoying his motorcycle on Monday, September 5, 2016. He was predeceased by his grandparents, Rena & Earl Smith, grandmother, Bobbie Ackerson; cousin, Jordan Godbout. He is survived by his loving wife, Diana; children, Jason Jr., Colleen, Daniel and Diana; parents, Dale & Sharon Whitman; parents-in-law, Alice Callahan & Ray Williams, Mark P. & Pamela Callahan; siblings, Justina Rauch, Dale & Lori Whitman Jr., Justin Whitman, Bryan & Honey Rick and Janis Rick; siblings-in-law, Christi and Eric Griffith, Mark F. Callahan; many nieces, nephews, cousins and a huge FRamily. The family will receive friends on Friday, September 9, 2016 from 6-8 pm at the Wm. R. Chase & Son Funeral Home, 737 Chenango Street, Port Dickinson. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 10, 2016 at 1:00 pm at the First Assembly of God Church, Binghamton.
