Bonnie Bender, 65, of Port Crane passed away on Wednesday, October 2, 2024. She was predeceased by her husband Douglas Bender, sister Kelly Illsley, father Frederick Winston, father-in-law and mother-in-law Norman & Dawn Bender, brothers in-law David & Dana Bender.
She is survived by her children Danielle Bender, Collin Bender, Brad Bender and Scott & Rose Bender; mother Dolores "June" Illsley; siblings Jerry & Donna Winston, Tom & Kaaren Illsley, Beckie & Wes Sharp, Brenda “Doobie” & Paul Comfort, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law Diana & Bill Roszel, Dean & Deni Bender and Dan & Becky Bender; many nieces, nephews, cousins and best friends Bill & Kathy Decker.
Bonnie was a retired employee of United Methodist Homes. She was an amazing cook who enjoyed swimming and traveling to the beach, especially visiting Dean & Deni in Florida. Most of all she loved the time she spent with her family who will miss her dearly.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
