He is survived by his daughter & son-in-law Donna & Keith Barry, daughter Barbara Russell and son & daughter-in-law Dennis & Cindy Russell; grandchildren Derek & Megan Barry, Brian & Becky Barry, Kelsey Russell, Kaleigh Russell and Dennis Russell Jr.; great grandchildren Nathan, Ella, Mark, Brandon, Carter and Elisabeth.
Bernard was a United States Air Force Veteran and was a Jet Engine Mechanic. He was a truck driver for Crowley Foods for over 30 years. He was a lifetime member and volunteer firefighter for the Port Crane Fire Company. He enjoyed camping, fishing, golfing woodworking, boating and motorcycle’s and most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family.
The family will receive friends at the Wm. R. Chase & Son Funeral Home, 737 Chenango Street, Port Dickinson on Tuesday, June 6, 2023 from 11-12pm. A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday at 12pm. Burial will follow at the Chenango Valley Cemetery.
