Margaret Ena Bain

(nee Thompson)

November 19, 1927 - January 7, 2021

With love and gratitude we sadly say goodbye to our dear Mom, Margaret. Mom passed away peacefully at the Madison Care Centre in Coquitlam. She is now reunited with our Dad, her beloved husband Alex who predeceased her on April 30, 1993.

Mom is lovingly remembered by her son and daughter-in-law , Sandy and Jan Bain, her daughter and son-in-law Peggy and Bob Fry, her grandson Craig Klemets and his wife Amanda Killingsworth and her great grandson Michael Klemets.

Mom was the last of the Thompson’s born to Frances and Clarence Thompson. She joins her parents, her four brothers Jack, Fred, Bob and Albert and her three sisters Ellenor, Ethel and Eileen. She is fondly remembered by her surviving sisters-in-law, brother-in-law and her many nieces, nephews, and their families from both the Thompson and Bain clans as well as the Fry family.

Mom was a longtime Coquitlam resident. She lived with progressing Dementia/ Alzheimer’s. Treasured memories of her upbringing in Vancouver, days gone by residing in Coquitlam filled with family life, working at Woodward’s, and traveling with Dad, family and friends provided much comfort to her.

Margaret’s family would like express their sincere appreciation to the Madison Team for the kind, loving and dignified care Mom received over the past five and a half years.
