It has been just over a year since we lost our beloved Mom, Mother-in-Law, Grandma, sister and dear friend Gloria.
Gloria was born in Humboldt, Saskatchewan, the second oldest of six siblings.
After marrying the love of her life Gordon (Gordie), they moved to British Columbia to build a life together. They raised three children, in their home in Port Coquitlam. Together they loved to tend to their garden, play cards and host amazing family gatherings. Gloria’s dinners were legendary and will be sorely missed.
Gloria and Gordie shared 54 years together, before we lost Gordie in 2021.
Gloria was an active member of the church, volunteering countless hours. She treasured the many friendships she made there.
Gloria was hardworking, loved her family, friends and her home. She was truly the centre of the family and things will never be the same without her presence.
Gloria leaves behind three children, Kurt, Tammy and Keith (Martina), and her grandchildren Connor and Sam, as well as siblings Bob, Gail, Glen. Lynn and Murray.
The family would like to thank all of Gloria’s family and friends, for their support and friendship to Gloria. Not a day goes by that you are not loved and missed.
Please join Gloria’s family and friends at a Celebration of Life to honour Gloria.
