John M. Osborn

He was born on June 4, 1918 in Columbus, Ohio and came to Port Charlotte, Florida from there in 1992. John was vice president of sales for Columbus Bank Note, located in Columbus, Ohio. He was a member of the Moose, Eagles, American Legion, Amvets and Civil Air Patrol. John was a veteran of WW-II U.S. Army, serving in the Pacific theatre, in liberation of the Philippines. John was the recipientof 3 Bronze Stars

He is survived by his wife, Jeanmarie Osborn of 33 years of Port Charlotte, Florida; 3 sons, Richard Osborn of Painesville, Ohio, Robert Foster Osborn (Beth) of Columbus, Ohio and John Martin Osborn of San Francisco, California. His daughter, Barbara (Robert) Bohan of Annapolis, Maryland: a sister, Lucile Osborn of Columbus, Ohio; 3 grandsons, Charles Robert, Max and Corey.

Beloved stepfather of Michelle Seeling (Frank), Jeanine DellaRocco (Keith),Edward W. Seth (Dale), Thomas W. Seth,James G. Seth and Charles M. Seth; Step-grandfather of 5 and great step-grandfather of 2.

Graveside services will be held on Monday March 28, 2011 at 10:00AM from National Cemetery of the Alleghenies with full military honors. Officiating the service will be Rev. Robert Myer.
