Earl W. Lamb

Earl W. Lamb, Jr, 69, of Port Charlotte, FL passed away April 6, 2011. He was born November 15, 1941 in Ft Myers, FL to Earl W and Ina Lamb Sr. He graduated from Charlotte High School in 1959 and served in the US Air Force from 1960 to 1964 and was the Sr Vice President of the Port Charlotte Bank/ Sun Trust for 32 years before retiring in 1995. He worked at the Charlotte County Property Appraiser's Office for nine years before retiring in 2005. Earl enjoyed retirement by spending quality time with his wife at their second home in Lake Lure, NC. He loved golfing, fishing, spending time with his nieces and nephews. He was a wine connoisseur and was an avid Florida Gators fan.

He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Lois M. Racioppi Lamb; father, Earl W. Lamb Sr; brother and sister-in-law, Mike and Carol Lamb; brother-in-law's Carl and Peggy Racioppi and Carmen and Linda Racioppi; nieces and nephews, Cody Lamb, Jason and Gina Racioppi, Adam Racioppi, Justin Racioppi and Heather Racioppi; grand nephew and niece, Anthony and Gianna Racioppi. He was predeceased by his mother Ina Lamb.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 pm till 3:00 pm, Monday April 11, 2011 at the Kays-Ponger & Uselton Funeral Home, 635 E Marion Ave, Punta Gorda, FL 33950. The Memorial Service will follow at 3:00 pm at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the St Jude's Children's Hospital at stjude.org.
