To dear Cilla and family..... what a pleasure to get to know Bernie these last few years.   He was always gracious and kind.   It was obvious that he had a deep love for his Lord Jesus Christ, his lovely wife and his family.   His quiet and steady demeanor inspired all of us to finish the race strong.   And now he has heard from his Lord...."well done Bernie, good and faithful servant. "  He will be missed!

To be absent from the body is to be present with the lord. And that’s where Bernie is, in the arms of Jesus. 
To all the Delongs:  what a legacy was given to you thru Bernie’s life. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

We have chosen Tobias and David’s cemetery for our burial.

I was so grateful to reconnect with Uncle Bernie and Aunt Priscilla after my dad’s funeral 12 years ago.   They were a huge support to me at that time and we were able to share many thoughts about my situation and God’s will in all of that.  I loved his wit and I loved talking politics with him.  I was blessed to be able to visit Aunt Priscilla in May of this year and she took Joseph and I to see Uncle Bernie.   I held him in prayer daily throughout the summer and I continue to hold the entire family in prayer in this difficult time.  May he rest in the arms of our Loving Savior❤️🙏

It was a pleasure getting to know Bernie while he  was at GrandCare. It took a bit for him to warm up to me but when he did he was never short of one liners that made me chuckle. My favorite was when I came on for my shift and I’d ask him how he was his response would be…”ohh above room temperature”.   ❤️
  My deepest condolences Priscilla, Bernie will be missed.
