It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Ramiro Lua, age 46, who left us on Sunday, September 8, 2024. Ramiro was a cherished husband, father, son, brother, and friend, leaving behind a legacy of love and dedication to his family and passions.
Ramiro is survived by his devoted wife, Hortencia Lua, and his beloved children: Jesus Lua, Juan Lua, Jose Lua, Alexis Lua, Mareyli Lua, and Emilie Lua. He is also survived by his parents, Juan Lua Farias and Martha Lua, and his siblings: Juan Lua, Sergio Lua, Rigoberto Lua, Salvador Lua, Yesica Lua, and Luzmaria Lua. Ramiro's memory will be lovingly preserved by his five grandchildren and a multitude of extended family and friends who were touched by his life.
A passionate enthusiast of rooster racing and gardening, Ramiro found joy and fulfillment in his hobbies, which reflected his vibrant spirit and zest for life. His family and friends will remember him for his unwavering dedication, warm-hearted nature, and the deep love he held for those around him.
Family and friends are invited to gather to honor and celebrate Ramiro's life at Grammier-Oberle Funeral Home, located at 4841 39th Street, Port Arthur, TX 77642. A visitation will be held on Thursday, September 12, 2024, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM, with a rosary service at 6:00 PM. A second visitation will take place on Friday, September 13, 2024, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM, with another rosary service at 6:00 PM.
Ramiro Lua will be deeply missed by all who knew him. May his soul rest in peace, and may his memory continue to inspire and bring comfort to those who loved him.

A Ramiro le sobreviven su devota esposa, Hortencia Lua, y sus amados hijos: Jesús Lua, Juan Lua, José Lua, Alexis Lua, Mareyli Lua y Emilie Lua. También le sobreviven sus padres, Juan Lua Farias y Martha Lua, y sus hermanos: Juan Lua, Sergio Lua, Rigoberto Lua, Salvador Lua, Yesica Lua y Luzmaria Lua. El recuerdo de Ramiro será preservado con amor por sus cinco nietos y una multitud de familiares y amigos que se sintieron tocados por su vida.
Un apasionado entusiasta de las carreras de gallos y la jardinería, Ramiro encontró alegría y satisfacción en sus pasatiempos, que reflejaban su espíritu vibrante y entusiasmo por la vida. Se llevará a cabo un velatorio el jueves 12 de septiembre de 2024, de 4:00 p. m. a 8:00 p. m., con un servicio de rosario a las 6:00 p. m. Se llevará a cabo un segundo velatorio el viernes 13 de septiembre de 2024, de 4:00 p. m. a 8:00 p. m., con otro servicio de rosario a las 6:00 p. m.
