Clyde R. Dugas

Clyde was born December 3, 1922 in Jefferson, Florida to Silas and Caroline Rooks.

Ms. Clyde is preceded in death by her parents, Silas Matthew Rooks and Caroline Gray Simmons Rooks; husband, Ovide J. Dugas; three brothers and four sisters.

She leaves behind to cherish her memories children, James E. Lehr of Buna, Randy Dugas and wife Kathy Pelt of Port Arthur, Linda Stinson and husband Kenny of Vinton, La.; and sister, Carol “Aunt Honey” Gay of Tallahassee, Florida. Grandchildren include Leslie Veitch and husband Randy, Ethan C. Lehr, Joshua P. Hallmark, Jessica Morrow and husband Alex and Jaycee Lyn Lehr; great-grandchildren, Justin Veitch, Haylee Veitch, Aiden Hallmark and numerous nieces and nephews.

A gathering of family and friends will be held Monday, March 11, 2013 from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m., at Grammier-Oberle Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life for Ms. Dugas will be held Tuesday, March 12, 2013 at 10 a.m. in the chapel of Grammier-Oberle Funeral Home, with interment to follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Groves.
