Beverly Ann LaBure McCready, 79, of Groves passed away Friday, September 6, 2019, at the Medical Center of Southeast Texas. Beverly was born July 6, 1940 in Port Arthur, Texas to the late George and Lillie Duhon. She was a member of St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church. Beverly’s passion in life were her children and family. She was a 1958 graduate of Thomas Jefferson High School. She started her career working at St. Mary's Hospital and then moved on to work for a radiologist group till she retired in 2005. Beverly enjoyed cooking for her family and friends. To her boys she was mom, but to many she was nannie and mawmaw .
Beverly was preceded in death by her parents; husband Russell McCready and son Cornel LaBure. Those left behind to cherish her memories are her children, Coy LaBure and his wife Susan; Cayne LaBure and his wife Heather; and Curt LaBure. Beverly also leaves behind her grandchildren, Candace Hollyfield, Cody LaBure, Cayci LaBure, Caylin LaBure, Cameron LaBure and Chloe LaBure; great grandchildren, Cade, Carson, Ava, Lucy, Chandlar, Cruz and Christopher; sister, Georgia Davidson and her husband Lindsey.
A visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. A rosary to be recited at 12:30 p.m., with the funeral service to begin at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 10, 2019 at Grammier-Oberle Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park.
