Ban Van Tran

Ban Tran of Port Arthur, Texas peacefully passed away surrounded by family on Tuesday, January 9, 2018. Mr. Tran devoted his life to God, his wife, Rose Mary Le, and six children. Survivors include sons, Tony Tran, and wife, Rachel; Victor Tran, and wife, Snow; Peter Tran, and wife, Thuy; Paul Tran, and wife, Carina; and Philip Tran; and daughter, Lam Tran. Mr. Tran also leaves behind seven grandchildren; Viet, Hung, Nina, Lyna, Vi, Mailan, and Calvin. Ban was preceded in death by his parents Lap Tran and Su Thi Le.

Rosary will be held at 5:00 p.m. followed by a visitation from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 11, 2018, at Grammier-Oberle Funeral Home in Port Arthur. Dedication mass will be held at 5:00 p.m. at the Queen of Vietnam Catholic Church in Port Arthur followed by a visitation from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Grammier-Oberle Funeral Home on Friday, January 12, 2018. A Catholic mass will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 13, 2018, at Queen of Vietnam Catholic Church with an entombment to follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Groves.
