Bigmore; Wendy Mary following a courageous battle with cancer, Wendy peacefully passed away in Port Alberni on Thursday, December 29, 2011 at 51 years of age.
She is survived by her dear husband Doug; daughter Krystal; sisters: Connie Harrison (Tim), Debbie Harvey (Steve), Lori Riach (Brad) and Lena McDermot (Rob); brother Glen Akselsen; nieces and nephews: Brianna and Josh Harvey, Courtney, Hannah and Caleb Riach and Meghan and Liam McDermot as well as her uncle Arne Hansen (Jara) and many other relatives in Denmark.
Wendy although a busy, hardworking person, she was a homebody at heart and was never happier than in her home surrounded by her loved ones. She was a devoted wife, mother, sister and aunt.
A celebration of her life will be held at 1:00pm on Thursday, January 5, 2012 at Lighthouse Apostolic Church, 4890 Locke Rd., Port Alberni. Cremation has taken place.
