Born and raised in Port Alberni, Gerald was a good, proud man who gave his all at whatever duty or job required.
He served Canada in The Royal Canadian Air Force and was a proud member of The Legion. He was a member of the Kinsmen K-40 Club for many years. Also was president of the 686 Retirement Club for 26 years. Gerald worked at Alberni Paper for 36 years.
He leaves his family Tina, married for 66 years, daughter Gina Tilley of Sechelt, son Tracy Patrick, four grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
Cremation is to take place and no services to be held by his own request.
