JAKONCIC; Harry passed away suddenly in Port Alberni, BC on April 15, 2015 at the age of 73. Predeceased by parents Carlo and Cristina; brother Roman and sister Berta. Harry is survived by sister Alma, 3 nieces and 4 nephews.
Harry came to Canada and immediately to Port Alberni in the mid 1950s. He graduated from Smith Memorial and took business courses in Sprott Shaw Community college. Harry’s passion was music and playing in bands. He looked after himself by going to the gym everyday and enjoyed gardening. Harry was also an active member of the Knights of Columbus.
A Funeral Mass will be held at 1:00pm on Thursday, April 23, 2015 from Notre Dame Roman Catholic Church 4731 Burke Road with Father Marek Paczka officiating. Burial to follow in St. Peters Cemetery.
