She leaves to mourn her passing, her loving daughter Kim (Jordan) and family; sisters Donna (Ron) and family, Linda (Tony) and family; her best friend Wendy Edwards; as well as aunts, uncles, many cousins and extended family and her Coolwaters Family.
Beverly grew up in the valley until she moved to the mainland to live with her mother. She returned to Port Alberni in the late 90s and stayed. Bev was a driving force behind developing the girls soccer team in North Vancouver in 1979. As well, Bev was a peer counsellor and advocate through the Canadian Mental Health Associate and the New Horizons Clubhouse. She resided at Cool Waters for 25 years and worked as a tenant liaison during this time. Bev took delight in dressing trendy and had many lovely accessories to accommodate each outfit.
The family wishes to express their thanks to the Homecare workers the Canadian Mental Health Association - Katrina, Gyula and Rainie, and the Doctors and nurses of the west Coast General Hospital.
A Celebration of Bev's life will be held in March 2024. The exact details will be shared closer to the date.
