Timothy Earl “Tim” White departed this life into God’s presence on Saturday, June 15, 2024, at the age of 76. Tim was born in Picayune, Mississippi on October 03, 1947 to Earl and Lois White. After graduating from Poplarville High School, he went on to serve his country in the United States Navy. Upon honorable discharge, Tim furthered his education, attending Mississippi State University where he earned his Bachelor's of Electrical Engineering. Tim worked at several plants in south Mississippi before retiring from International Paper in Bogalusa, Louisiana. His favorite place to be was on the water, fishing, crabbing and shrimping. When Tim wasn’t fishing, he loved to spend time with his family. In addition to his parents, Tim is preceded in death by his son, Wesley Earl White; brother, Tilton White; nephew, Dwaine White and his sister-in-law, Kausendra White. Left to forever cherish his memory are his wife of 53 years, Joy Sapp White; his brother, Terry White; niece, Terri White; nephew, Ty James White; great nephew, Braylon Magee; great-nieces, Madelyn Magee and Kenadie Stringer; brother-in-law, Jon (Debbie) Sapp and sister-in-law, Sheryl Sapp.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, June 20, 2024 at Mitchell Chapel Church of God Cemetery.
