Raymond Dewayne Shaw

Raymond Dewayne “R.D.” Shaw departed this life into God’s presence on Wednesday, November 20, 2024 at the age of 68. R.D. retired from Dupont where he had a twenty-year career as a chemical operator. He was a loving family man who adored his family and absolutely loved his grandchildren. He enjoyed porch sittin’, fishing, hunting and camping. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

He is preceded in death by his daughter, Kira Barrett; father, Clyde Shaw and his brother, John Shaw.

Left to forever cherish his memory are his wife of 29 years, Lesa Shaw; daughters, April Slade (Kanaly) and Leora Shaw (Michael); sons, Johnathan Shaw (Angela) and Kyle Shaw (Trina); grandchildren, Maci Reid, Zane Pittman, Kalli Slade, Eli Slade, Jax Dedeaux, Tucker Shaw, Cooper Shaw, Kristin Shaw, Katelyn Shaw and Krystal Shaw; mother, Vondell Courtney Shaw and his brother, Quintin Shaw.

Funeral services, officiated by Reverend Harry Davis, will be held on Saturday, November 23, 2024 beginning at noon at White Funeral Home in Poplarville. Friends are invited to join the family for visitation from 10:00 until the service begins. Burial will immediately follow in Leshaw Family Cemetery with Ethan Shaw, Alex Shaw, Tucker Shaw, Cooper Shaw, Malcolm Ladner, Zane Pittman and Eli Slade assisting as pallbearers.
