Larry was born December 24, 1938 in Poplarville to Odis and Velma Broadus Myrick. He was a retired insurance agent with Myrick Insurance; a member of Hickory Springs Baptist Church; a veteran of the Mississippi Army National Guard; and an alumnus of Pearl River Community College. He married the former Nell Pullen on October 7, 1961.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by one brother, James Edward "Jimmy" Myrick; and one brother-in-law, J.L. Lewis.
Family members include his wife of 57 years, Nell Pullen Myrick; one son, Darlon Myrick and his wife Judy; six siblings, Kermis (Sandra) Myrick, Shirley Rae Lewis, Glenda (Virgil) Burge, Sue (Bob) Guyse, Gaye (Henry) Magee, Marsha (Larry) Sanders; four grandchildren, Haili Myrick, Merisa Myrick, Jeremiah Kopszywa, Colton Kopszywa; five great grandchildren, Dru Kopszywa, Jack Lancaster, Jace Lancaster, Brylee Kopszywa, Shayde Kopsyzwa; one sister-in-law, Shirley Myrick; a host of extended family and friends.
Funeral services will be at White Funeral Home, 315 Highway 11 South, Poplarville, MS, 39470 on Saturday, April 21, 2018 at 3:00 pm. Interment will follow in Myrick Cemetery. The family will receive friends and have visitation from 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm, Friday at the funeral home.
