Betty was born July 13, 1956 in Poplarville to Tony and Jewel Rawls Tarver. She was an employee of Hattiesburg Clinic and a member of Murray Hill Church of God.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by two brothers, Jamie Tarver and Arthur Tarver.
Family members include her daughter, Ashley (Kelton Jenkins) Redden; her grandson, Cameron; two sisters, Charlotte (Gene) Foster, Linda Tarver; extended family; her family in love; and dear friends.
Private services will be planned for a later date.
