CAYUSO, RAYMOND born on September 25, 1946 in Newark, New Jersey and died on July 21, 2014 in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Raymond was a 1964 graduate of Stranahan High School and graduated from Embry Riddle University in Daytona Beach in 1967. He was employed by National and Pan Am Airlines as a line mechanic and flight engineer from 1967-1991. He then owned and operated The Z Place in Fort Lauderdale from 1980 thru 2007. Pre-deceased by his mother Matilda Cayuso and father Adriano Cayuso. Survived by his loving wife Anita sons Jamie (Mary Frances) Cayuso and Michael Cayuso , grandsons Ryan and Hayden Cayuso and mother in law Helen Wilke. Ray thoroughly enjoyed his retirement since 2007. He was a member of the Pompano Beach Exchange Club since 2010. Ray was a master of all trades and enjoyed computers, high tech electronics and gadgets for the house. He was an ardent lover of his dogs. He was very happy when he finally fixed his motorcycle. There was nothing that broke that he could not fix and if it was not broken he made it better. Friends may gather on Sunday, July 27th from 2 to 5 PM at the KRAEER FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION CENTER, 1199 N.E. 36th Street, Pompano Beach, Florida. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family. Family is requesting in lieu of flowers contributions to the Jamie Cayuso trust fund for Ryan and Hayden Cayuso.
