Beverly Ann Vitale

Beverly was born in Springfield, MA to Fredrick and Thelma Slater on January 15, 1940. She was raised and educated in Springfield, MA, graduating from Springfield Technical High School . She married Carmen Kenneth Vitale on June 15, 1957 in Springfield, MA at which time they moved to Fort Lauderdale, FL . She worked for Lord’s Realty, Lauderdale by the Sea when she first moved to Florida in 1957 and then she was the Vice President/Accounts Manager for Woodworking Unlimited, Inc. for over 40 years until she retired. She was a member of 2nd Presbyterian Church, now The Sanctuary Church in Fort Lauderdale since the late 1950’s where she taught Sunday School and was also a deacon. She also received Silver Angel Award from John Knox Village.

Beverly enjoyed traveling on diving adventures with her husband, she especially enjoyed her yearly trips with her husband and grandchildren to snorkel with the manatees in Homosassa Springs, FL. She also enjoyed traveling to see her son and grandchildren in Tennessee.

Beverly is preceded in death by husband Ken Vitale. Sons Scott Vitale and Glenn Vitale. Father Fredrick Slater and Mother Thelma Slater. Brother Fred Slater, Sisters Phyllis Brown, Carolyn Cruz and Muriel Norris.

Beverly is survived by her Daughter Kerrie Interlandi (Frank) of Fort Lauderdale, Grandchildren Nicole Bellotti, Michael Bellotti, Heather Interlandi, Erika Vitale, Megan Vitale, Zachary Vitale, Emily Vitale, Jayden Vitale, Jolee Vitale and Jessica Interlandi. Great grandchildren Sophia, Michael and Amelia.

Funeral services will be held 11:30 am Saturday, September 14 at The Sanctuary Church, 1400 North Federal Highway, Fort Lauderdale, FL with Dwayne Black , officiating. A Private Burial will be on Sunday September 15 at 10:30 am at Forest Lawn North, 200 West Copans Road Pompano, FL . Arrangements are by Kraeer Funeral Home at Forest Lawn North.
