A native of the Saguenay, Tom was educated as a chemist at Loyola College in Montreal and at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He spent the better part of his career working for Alcan in Arvida, travelling the world over in his quest for energy-efficient and environmentally sensible processes for aluminum smelting. Tom’s passion for music fostered a creative and joyful environment for his loved ones. He lived his life as a good Scout – always being prepared. As both a believer and a scientist, he enjoyed discussing the virtues of both science and religion with curiosity and patience. He entreats us to start every day with prayer to enlighten our daily routines. He is at last reunited with his beloved Therese.
