Margaret McKay March 24, 1935 - March 29, 2013 We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of our loving mother and family matriarch Margaret F. McKay on March 29, 2013 at Lakeshore General Hospital. She is predeceased by her husband John C. McKay, and survived by her three children David (Karen), Robert (Melanie) and Heather (Gordon). She will be greatly missed by her seven grandchildren, Fiona, Kate, Ryan, Megan, Natasha, Ashley and Sarah. Sharing in our grief are her three siblings, Victor (Marcelle), Lucille (Aime) and Frank (Normande) along with many nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.

A Montrealer her whole life, she started her career at Trans-Canada Air Lines, where she began a lifelong love of travel before settling down to start a family in Pierrefonds. Later, she returned to work as an accountant and never wanted to retire, as it "kept her young". She was a devoted mother and grandmother who also found time to indulge her passions for golf, bridge and painting. Throughout her life she had the pleasure of creating many memories with her family and will be truly missed.

The family will receive relatives and friends at Collins Clarke MacGillivray White Funeral Home in Pointe Claire, on Friday, April 5 at 10:30 am. with services to follow at noon. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation are appreciated.
