We found this notice as it was passed among the rainey clan. We were sorry to hear the news of Rogers passing. We spent time with Roger and Rita ( they were the closest to our age) when they visited in Hattiesburg MS. with our grandparents in the summer and on holidays. We have not had much contact with the Beasleys since then. Our best wishes to you remaining family members

Beasley family.  I just recieved word today of Roger's passing. He and Jim and I spent many wonderful years togather as cousins frolicking in the pastures and woods of granpa Rainey's farm. There were many family reunions at the old Rainey School and Thanksgiving and Christmas get togathers. I have so much I would like to tell you of him as a lad. He was always straight forward, honest and loveable. As children we were always excited to see one another and inseparable while we were togather. 

He will be missed by everyone in the Rainey clan and especially by Jim and I. Denice and Sharron if you would like to here of your father as a boy feel free to call me or to come to our home. (281) 392-1995. Roger was as good as it gets and you have much to be proud of. I offer my deepest sympathy in your loss.

I am so sorry to hear of Roger's passing.  I am sad to say that even though we were cousins, I only saw him a few times in our lives.  I will remember all of you in my prayers.  Lyn Rainey Revette, Baton Rouge, Louisiana.

Denise and Sharon , Rick and I will sure miss your dad very much . I can't believe it was 24 years ago that Rick came to work for your dad and Pop . Over those 24 years we have become to feel like you were a part of our family . If you guys ever need anything and Rick or I can help all you have to do is call , I hope that you know that . There is a new bright star in heaven , and when it twinkles it will be talking to everyone that it encounters as your dad did .

I graduated Chamberlain with your parents.  

Over the years our paths would cross.  With the stresses of life, it had been a while since we had seen your dad.  The memories are surrounded with kindness and joy.  

My husband of 45 years entered heaven this past January. The two of them together in the same place once again!   Just the thought brings a smile.  

May our Holy Father hold you tight in his embrace as you step forward.

I was so sorry to see in the paper that Roger had died.  The years that I worked for him were some really good times.  Roger was the most honest man I think I have ever met.  He was one of the good ones.  They just don't make them like him anymore.  My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

I only knew Roger a short time as a golfing partner but he was always fun to be around. When I would ask him how he was doing, his reply would be just great but I can't seem to find my golf game! I hope he gets whatever tee time he wants now and plays as often as possible. He was a great guy and will be missed by all.

The loss of your Father will leave a void in your hearts forever.  He will however, always be part of your "soul". You will surprised how his spirit will always be by your side.  I'm certain your father was very proud of both his girls - very strong ,young beautiful women with lovely families. Please know I share your pain. Dear Denise and Sharon,

I know what a deeply painful time this is for both of you.  Your dad was very proud of the smart, strong and capable women you have both become. A father could never want more for his daughters than to have them grow up to be the beautiful people that you are. 

In your dad’s short 63 years on earth, he worked hard and accomplished many great things.  But I know that he counted the two of you as his greatest contribution to the life he lived, and when he passed from this earth he knew he was leaving something very good behind.  Know that he is with you always and when your light shines he is pleased.

My prayer is that God would surround you and your family in the Light of His Perfect Love, Divine Protection and fill you with the Peace that surpasses all understanding.

I have memories in my pocket.
They rattle among the change.

My memories of you are treasures I carry wherever I go.

They are stored in bits and pieces, parts of a beautiful whole
They give me comfort when I think I am alone.
