Robert L. "Bob" Williamson passed away June 26, 2011. He was born in Grand Island, Nebraska. In 1960 he moved to Florida where he was manager of the Tallahassee, Florida Chamber of Commerce. He subsequently became the Bureau Chief of the Business Development Division for the State of Florida, where he supervised the State's business recruiting program. He had a passion for biblical studies. He also loved the game of golf. He served on the Board of Directors of the Walden Lake Community Association for nine years and was president for two years. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Virginia, and two sons, Mark (Audrey) of Aptos, California and Brad (Tami) of McKinney, Texas. He is also survived by five grandchildren, Zac, Chad, Emma Rose, Chris and Charlie. A memorial service will take place on Friday, July 1, at 10:00 AM at Wells Memorial Funeral Home. Family will receive friends following the service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to American Cancer Society.
