She was a member of Mt. Zion Assembly of God. Dot was also a nurse by profession.
Dot is predeceased by her father, Clyde Brown and mother, Ruth Long Brown. Also, predeceased by her brothers, James Brown, Clarence Brown and Olvin Brown; Sisters: Emmer Brewer, Faye Parrish and Mildred Turner. Also, predeceased by her step-granddaughter Heather McBrayer.
Survivors include two daughters: Terri (Michael) Cruickshank and Katrina McBrayer both of Plant City, Grandchildren include Aaron Wix and Mark Cruickshank, two great granddaughters: Jazelena Flint and Brianna Cruickshank, her brothers: Lawrence Brown, Clyde Brown and Frank Brown; Sisters are Louise Nelson, Frances Wall and Shirley Brown.
A visitation for Dot will be held Friday, December 2, 2022 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Mt Zion Assembly of God, 3005 Thonotosassa Rd, Plant City, FL 33565, followed by a funeral service from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
There will be a private family burial at Shiloh Cemetery, Plant City, Florida.
