Doris D Phillips

Doris D. Phillips, of Plant City, Florida, passed away peacefully at her home on November 20, 2024. Born and raised in Plant City, Doris was deeply rooted in her community and touched the lives of many.

Doris pursued a career as a skilled fiberglass technician, a field in which she took great pride. Her dedication, work ethic, and craftsmanship were admired by colleagues and friends alike.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Raymond Phillips with whom she shared a lifetime of love and partnership. Doris will be laid to rest beside him at Mt Enon Cemetery in Plant City, a fitting place for their eternal reunion.

Doris is survived by her loving sister in law Patricia Dixon, and her devoted sister, Elizabeth Yarbrough, brothers, John Denmark and James Denmark and her daughter Connie Mullis along with many beloved grandchildren who will cherish her memory and carry forward her legacy of kindness and resilience.

A visitation for Doris will be held Monday, November 25, 2024 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at Wells Memorial Funeral Home, 1903 West Reynolds Street, Plant City, FL 33563. A funeral service will follow at 11:00 am, officiated by Pastor Todd Hood. A burial will take place at 12:30 pm at Mt Enon Memorial Cemetery.
