It's been really hard to understand why things happen like they do, the only thing I know is God needed another angel. I know when you put your thumb up at me you were going to be okay no matter what happen. It's hard to say good-bye but I know your in no more pain and your breathing is perfect, so big brother rest in peace until we meet again, don't give Mother and Daddy to much trouble, but give them a big hug for me,  Love you and always will

I had the honor of meeting him at Traci and James' wedding! He seemed like such a sweet man. My heart goes out to the entire family. Love you all.

My Dad and I never seen eye to eye while I was growing up, but he was there in a guardian way when there was trouble that my grandma (his mother) couldn't handled. He wasn't for showing feeling or saying he loved you, but I knew he did in his own different way. The day I left for the military, he said he loved me and gave me a heartfelt hug. He wrote me one letter while I was in combat zone, before I headed out to do my recon mission, telling me how proud he was and wishing he could change places with me. I will miss my friend, my Dad. Now it's my turn to tell him I wish I could change places with him. He had a wonderful family and a wife, they stood by each other thur thick and thin. To the man I knew as my Dad, I love and miss you, Wherever you are give them hell.   Love Jerry

My heart is broken.  I have lost my best half.  I will always remember the past 20 years and everything you have taught me. I will remember all our adventures and Every time I go to Tennessee You will be right there with me. You were my hope, my strength, my peace, my center, my confidence, my faith, My Life. I cant find the words to tell you how much i miss you.. I find myself wanting to call you or send you a message, knowing you won't be on the other end to answer. Paw-paw you will be missed dearly. You meant the world to a lot of people. So many memories will be carried and cherished. I will continue to do my best and continue to make you proud. My little boys will miss you , Mylo won't have anyone to keep him from the candy drawer anymore. Things definitely won't be the same anymore since you are gone.
