Mary-Margaret was born May 17, 1996 to her parents James (Jimmy) Bishop and Sandra (Charlie) Bishop and was the heart of the Bishop family. She was the beloved youngest sister of Jacqueline Bishop and James M. Bishop, the Godmother and aunt of Kennedy Bishop-Thomas (6), and the mother of Levi Bishop-Gordwin (4) - her most cherished role. Mary-Margaret was a beloved mother, daughter, sister, aunt, granddaughter, niece, cousin, and friend to so many who adored her and enjoyed every minute they spent with her.
Mary-Margaret held the most sacred role of being an amazing and loving mother and caretaker of Levi and her niece Kennedy. She devoted herself to creating the best life possible for them and treasured her time spent watching them learn and grow. In addition to the meaningful relationships she fostered daily with her son and niece, Mary-Margaret was a pillar of love and support to many family members and friends. With her beautiful smile and kind soul, she brightened every room she walked into and charmed everyone she met. She had the amazing gift of hospitality that she extended effortlessly and an endearing ability to read a room and reach out to those who needed connection. These gifts never failed to help people feel welcomed, heard, and loved when they were in her presence. Another way Mary-Margaret shared love with others was by cooking new recipes to feed and nourish her loved ones. Mary-Margaret was one of the strongest people you will ever meet. She handled every conflict and obstacle life threw her way with grace and determination; there was nothing she couldn’t achieve when she put her mind to it. In her last selfless act here on earth, Mary-Margaret was an organ donor who saved 6 other lives.
Mary-Margaret loved to celebrate all of life’s milestones so we will be holding a celebration to honor her beautiful and meaningful life. Her family will be praying a rosary on Friday, February 4, 2022 at 2:30pm at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church in the courtyard of the Parish Center (3100 Spring Creek Parkway, Plano, TX, 75023). Funeral Mass and Service will be held on Saturday, February 5, 2022 at 11am at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church (3100 Spring Creek Parkway, Plano, TX, 75023) with a reception held after.
