She was born in Dallas, Texas on September 14th, 1945 to Faustino Coronado Sr. and Manuela Coronado and resided in Plano, Texas.
Juanita was the second youngest of 8 children. She graduated from Irving High School in 1965. Juanita worked for many years with JCPenney where she met the love of her life Robert S. Paciencia, Sr., whom she married on June 28th, 1984 and built a beautiful life.
Juanita moved on to work in the Plano School District where she was a secretary to the Guidance Counselors at Shepton High School until she retired. Besides spending time with her family and friends, Juanita had a passion for baking, gardening, knitting, working out and spending time with her four legged “son” Sarge.
Juanita had a bright, energetic personality and always took care of those around her. She touched many lives with her generosity and passion for life. She was a beloved wife, stepmother, mother in law, grandmother, great-grandmother, daughter, sister, sister in law, aunt, great aunt and friend to so many.
Juanita is preceded by her husband; Robert S. Paciencia Sr., father; Faustino Coronado Sr., mother; Manuela Coronado (nee Franco).,brother; Domingo Coronado, stepson; Joseph Paciencia, Sr., nephew; Jason Sanchez, grandson; Joseph Paciencia Jr. and granddaughter Frances Paciencia.
She is survived by her brothers; Cleofas Coronda, Faustino Coronado Jr., sisters; Guadalupe Sanchez, Betty Becerra, Katherine Coronado and Susan Coronado, stepson; Robert Paciencia Jr, stepdaughter; Irene Gibson, daughter in laws, son in laws, 7 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, as well as 20 nieces and nephews and several great and great great nieces and nephews, friends and so many others whose lives she touched.
Juanita will be greatly missed by all whom had the privilege of knowing and loving her, but we know she will continue to be the bright light in our lives that she always has been.
A Funeral Mass will take place on Thursday, May 2, 2024 at 11 AM at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, located at 2700 Spring Creek Pkwy, Plano, TX 75023. Visitation will be held an hour prior.
Committal will immediately follow at Restland Cemetery, 13005 Greenville Ave, Dallas, TX 75243.
