As a toddler, while being cared for by his care giver Faith Murry, Michael joyfully called on the name of Jesus out loud. At age 11 he received Christ as his savior and was baptized by his grandfather Abraham Silos. As a youth, his scout master Doc Holliday encouraged Michael to read the entire Bible. He read through the Bible at least twice. On June 20, 2021 (Father’s Day) Michael prayed this prayer and renewed his vows with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
"Lord Jesus, I am a sinner.
I need You.
Thank You for dying for me.
Lord Jesus, forgive me.
Cleanse me from all my sins.
I believe You rose from the dead.
I receive You right now as my Savior and life.
Come into me! Fill me with Your life!
Lord Jesus, I give myself to You for Your purpose."
