Born January 24, 1924 in Abilene Texas, son of James B. and Elizabeth Janie (Ezell) Tucker.
CL had six sisters and four brothers.
He married Marie Gentry on October 10, 1969 in Seymour, Texas. She resides in Plano.
He is also survived by Mike Tucker, Phil Sanders, Pat Tucker, Denise Hershey, 8 grandchildren and 1 great granddaughter.
CL was a member of the WWII "Lost Battalion" from Abilene Texas. Mr. Tucker spent the majority of the war in Japanese POW camps. After his release, he was awarded many medals for serving his country including The Purple Heart.
In addition, to family and a 47 year marriage, CL's other accomplishments include: Lifeguard, Private Pilot, Scuba Diver, Maritime Captian, Business Owner and a 43-year career with Southwestern Bell Telephone.
A memorial service and celebration of life will be held on Thursday, November 10, 2016 at 11:00 AM at Hunters Glen Baptist Church located at 4001 Custer Road, Plano, Texas 75023.
