William P Seifert

William P Seifert, "Semper Fidelis" age 76, of Oakdale, Pennsylvania passed away on Sunday, December 10, 2023. William was born in Pittsburgh, PA. on January 21, 1947 to the late Erhardt and Gertrude (McKeever) Seifert. In 1968 he married his high school sweetheart Mary Lou (Kaplin) together they raised their two sons; David (Beth) Seifert and William "Bill" Seifert Jr. He also leaves behind his grandchildren: Nicole (Casey) Werhanowicz, Derek (Marissa) Seifert , Billy Seifert lll and great grandchild Abigail Werhanowicz. He will be missed by his sister Rita (late Joseph) Tardio and many nieces and nephews.

If you asked a hundred people who "Bill" was they may tell you a different story. Decorated Vietnam War Veteran serving 2 tours of duty in the United States Marine Corp, a retired Army Reservist and a woodworker. Bill enjoyed camping at Slippery Rock with Mary Lou and the company of his childhood best friend Charles "Chuckie" (Charlotte) Graham. Bill retired from Equitable Gas Company (Peoples Gas)

He is preceded in death by his brother Edward Seifert.

Friends are invited to a visitation for "Bill" on Wednesday, December 13, 2023 from 2PM to 4PM and 6PM to 8PM at H.P. Brandt Funeral Home, 1032 Perry Hwy, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania 15237. A Catholic Blessing Service will occur on Thursday, December 14, 2023 at 10:30 AM in the funeral home chapel. Full Military Honors will take place at Allegheny County Memorial Park, 1600 Duncan Ave., Allison Park, PA 15101.
